39. “Long Monday” is a song by John Prine. While us non-poets might tell someone we miss, “I’ve been thinking about you”, John Prine wrote, “You and me / Sittin’ in the back my memory / Like a honey bee / Buzzin’ ’round a glass of sweet Chablis.” To my wife: Hopefully a picture can substitute for the words that fail me.
