162. “The Wrong Company” is a song by Flogging Molly that was written by their vocalist David King. They are one of two of my favorite Irish Punk bands – the other being The Pogues. This is just one of many drinking songs recorded by the two bands. The singer sits down in a pub where he finds the wrong company standing in the corner waiting for him, “I only drink to be merry but unfortunately / I’m in the wrong prison cell and the wrong company.”
