Ripple

92. “Ripple” is a song by The Grateful Dead that was written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter. The song includes several puzzling contradictions: “Ripple in still water/ When there is no pebble tossed/ Nor wind to blow.”, and “Let it be known there is a fountain / That was not made by the hands of men.” Although the song is open to interpretation, many believe it about the final journey, “There is a road, no simple highway / Between the dawn and the dark of night / And if you go, no one may follow / That path is for your steps alone”
