209. “Bohemian Rhapsody” was written by Freddie Mercury and recorded by Queen. It was released in 1975 on their fourth studio album “A Night at the Opera”. There are multiple interpretations of the song and while both Freddie and the band have kept quiet on the subject the general belief that it is autobiographical. While Freddie was coming to grips with his bisexuality his personal relation, including with his family, were coming apart. About 180 tracks were layered together to form the final six-minute mix, with Mercury commenting that he could always add a few more “Galileos’.”
