Southern Cross

195. The Southern Cross is a constellation, also known as the Crux Constellation, that has been used for navigating the southern hemisphere much as the north star is used in the northern hemisphere. The Stephen Sills song that was recorded by Cosby Stills and Nash in 1981 was based on “Seven League Boots” by Richard Curtis and Michael Curtis. Stills and the Curtis Brothers are all given songwriting credit.
